SYFY to Bring Grant Morrison's "Happy" To Television

On the heels of their 'reboot' initiative, SYFY has announced the first season orders for Grant Morrison's Happy from Image Comics. The story follows Nick Sax, a drunken ex-cop, who has an unfortunate meeting with fate in the form of a cartoon horse named Happy.Check out a preview here!

First Photos from "I Kill Giants" Movie Adaptation Released

Filming for the movie adaptation of Joe Kelly's I Kill Giants from Image Comics began last fall, and the first stills from the live-action movie have been released. Featuring Zoe Saldana as Mrs. Mollé and Madison Wolfe as Barbara, check out the photos and a preview of the graphic novel here!

Valiant Continues Expansion Into Movie Production with Archer & Armstrong

Valiant is continuing to expand their on-screen adaptations with Archer & Armstrong. With 'Zombieland' director, Ruben Fleischer, and 'Pirates of the Caribbean' writer, Terry Rossio, the project is currently being developed in-house before partnering with a studio.

Chapterhouse Joins DBD's Roster of Publishers

Diamond Comic Distributors has been named the exclusive worldwide distributor for comic book publisher Chapterhouse Comics. The agreement includes distribution rights to comic book specialty stores as well as the book market through Diamond Book Distributors.

Named after the late Dwayne McDuffie, comics/animation writer and co-creator of Static Shock, the third annual Dwayne McDuffie Award for Kids' Comics shortlist of nominees has been announced including Princess Princess Ever After and Bad Machinery Volume 5.
