With an increase of 1.3% in print book sales in 2018 over 2017 based on data collected by Bookscan and a reported 5% increase by the American Booksellers Association, the upward trend of book sales continues into 2019. The largest drive in sales was provided by the adult non-fiction segment, followed by juvenile non-fiction and young adult non-fiction.
